A Series of Works Celebrating Individuals and their Performances in the Sport of Cricket...by Richard Blackford

About us

Images of the Game Limited was founded in 2003 by its largely self-taught artist Richard Hugh Blackford. The concept for Images of the Game was derived from the title of his first exhibition of cricket paintings held at Sabina Park in 2005. The cricket paintings featured included pieces depicting great cricketers from the era of the great George Headley to Brian Lara, historic cricket grounds such as the Kensington Oval in Bridgetown, Barbados to Sabina Park in Kingston, Jamaica.

Located in Kingston, in the sunny Caribbean island of Jamaica, its principal business is the production of cricket paintings, innovative and attractive souvenirs that pertains to but not exclusive to the sport of cricket.

As the 2007 Cricket World Cup bowls off in the West Indies, Images of the Game Limited will play an active part in the production of an exclusive line of memorabilia specific to the tournament and licensed by the ICC. Some of the items on offer include souvenir coffee mugs, souvenir plates, key rings, T-Shirts, souvenir prints of selected paintings, as well as selected original cricket paintings drawn from Richard H. Blackford’s extensive catalogue of original works.
